One moment, you’re hearing a hauntingly beautiful waltz from the Escadilla Mountains in Arizona, and the next, you’re swept into the whimsical world of an opera-obsessed woman named Gisèle, watching life go by from her top-floor window. Then, you’re joining a lively singalong with Fahnen und Parolen, celebrating a fresh start by leaving the past behind. You’ll dance to a virtuosic Brazilian forró, laugh at the vaudeville-style humor of moving on in Je démissionne, and march along with the rebellious anthem of Clowns & Angels.



The album weaves together a patchwork of emotions and stories. You’ll even hear hints of progressive Balkan beats and an old-school blues track, creating a rich and varied soundscape that invites you to dive in and get lost.
Their female-voiced homage to Kraftwerk’s Das Model is a perfect example of how effortlessly 17 Hippies blend musical history with their unique mix of humor and grandeur.
